Hi, I’m
Spencer Dukoff

Currently: I’m Director of Audience Development at Forbes, where I oversee all content production and strategy for Forbes Vetted’s distribution channels, including social media platforms, newsletters, push notifications, SMS, content aggregators, and other major audience initiatives.

Previously: I was most recently Director of Audience Development at Consequence, a music, film, television, and pop culture publication, and before that was Deputy Editor, Content Strategy at Men’s Health. I have experience supervising top-level content strategy for brands, increasing affiliate revenue via e-commerce, and launching a premium membership program, as well as writing and editing stories for print and online. I have also led and been a member of teams at Mic, New York Daily News, Spoon University, and Slant. At all those roles, the common thread was using technology to improve storytelling and journalism online, as well as finding compelling ways to connect the work of my colleagues—reporters, designers, video journalists, and data scientists—to growing, dynamic audiences. In addition to my content strategy work, I’ve written for Forbes, Salon, Thrillist, AdHoc, Columbia Journalism Review, and more.
